The City of Westminster College runs a 13 week DIY skills course specifically for homeless or insecurely housed people. You have the chance to learn a range of skills from basic carpentry, plastering, painting and decorating and tiling.

The course runs between Mondays and Thursdays and is for less than 16 hours a week so does not affect any benefits you might be claiming. You can also get help with travel costs and lunch expenses. You need to be aged 21 or over.
